Lama's Vision
Lama Yeshe was a Tibetan Buddhist monk with an extraordinary vision. Lama’s vision was to develop a program of education that helped to nurture the innate positive qualities in people of all ages. It was not Lama’s wish that everyone become Buddhist, but rather that they discover the unifying, secular essence of wisdom and compassion found in religions and cultures around the world. Lama’s vision was to educate people’s hearts and minds using a holistic, integrated and scientific approach. Since Lama’s passing in 1984, his student, Lama Zopa Rinpoche, has been the holder of Lama’s vision. |
